Going to physical therapy is an important part of recovering from an injury. But what if we could avoid the injury all together? What if we did movements that looked like PT exercises before there was an injury to recover from? This is exactly the kind of proactive approach we take at Get To Fitness. Not only are the workouts intelligently designed to be challenging and safe but we spend time doing “Pre-hab” (instead of rehab) exercises in the form of Durability. These are stretches and gentle movements that help improve flexibility and stability of important joints and tissues. Sometimes they are included directly into the warm up or workout. Progression is an important part of the Durability process. First we want to get you out of pain. Then we can work of stretching and strengthening the affected areas. Because of this progression, most Durability videos come in multiple parts. You can see this with Knee Durability Parts 1 & 2.
